Summer is now here, although it’s been quite warm for the past few weeks. We are now into daytime highs of 30C-35C, and storm season is also here. I took some photos of a cloud shelf coming in from the west, late yesterday afternoon.
It came with the expected wind gusts, but wasn’t quite ready to break over us. We got a few spots of rain but no other storm activity. That followed quite a bit later and then again over night. I always amazes me how the temperature can drop after one of these passes over.
I’m now looking forward to a few more nice storms next week, although the forecast keeps changing, and there was even talk today of a cyclone forming in the Coral Sea!
